Removing speculative text. Some abilities are similar to each other in concept, design, moveset and otherwise, but claiming that one is a "upgrade" of another is pure speculation. Who knows if some of these abilities will return with expanded movesets. I remember when people thought Spark had permanently replaced Plasma in RtDL onwards, only for it to return in Star Allies with new moves
