Kany is the final boss of Kirby's Dream Collection according to the newest leak.[1] It also appeared as a background object in Kirby's Dream Land 3 and as an interactable element in Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards. It resembles a crab, though in Dream Land 3, it bears a pixelated look and with two-sided claws attacked to lines coming out the top of its head. In The Crystal Shards, it looks sort-of more three-D, having features of both a crab and a shellfish and a lantern. In Dream Collection it has been theorized to assimilate initially to the background of Radish Ruins - Hub. Kany appears only in sea/island levels where it thrives amongst the other enemies, which may be the reason of why the leaked credits of KDC display a beach in the background. If inhaled, the player will receive no ability.

Game appearances

Kirby's Dream Land 3

KDL3 Kany Sprite.png Kany makes its debut appearance in this game, though it can be seen in only a handful of stages. It staggers one way and then the other and repeats, trying to attack Kirby with its claws, but clashing with those things instead. Shame that it can't reach out from the background though.

In this game, Kany first appears on Aqua Star. It acts just about the same, except now Kirby can actually touch it, and may occasionally sit down next to it for a moment. It also appears as a larger animated wall in stage 2 of Aqua Star. If the unknown reader dares to C-Button a Kany over his/her head, it will snip its claws, defeating a total of thirteen pixels in the screen. Kany appears on the 27th Enemy Info Card.

Kirby's Dream Collection

In Kirby's Dream Collection Kany seems to be fought as the final boss of the game.[1] After Dashing Superguy throws a Game Boy at Kirby, a cut happens in the shown leak, then cutting out to the middle of the Kany secret boss fight. In battle, the unknown reader will have to evade 4 out of 17 from the randomly generated pool of the 33 Sphere Doomer types, with the 17 being chosen to be in the pool changing each save file, and only know to the player after he/she tries to fish a Kany in water 690 times. Kany then proceeds to use moves similar to those of Eggolor, which may hit the pink puffball for a take on the Sleep transformative power. Some internet reviewer claims that its appearance in the Extra Mode is suspiciously similar to that of Peezer, though it is unknown what they meant by this.[2]

In Kirby: Right Back at Ya!

Kany as it supposedly appears in the anime series Kirby: Right Back at Ya!

Kany makes a small camo appearance in the anime Kirby: Right Back at Ya! in the episode Pink-Collar Blues. In this episode, it tries to hide in the sand at the beach as Kirby and his friends are trying to sneak past a Waddle Dee with a rope to get into the cave it is guarding. When Kirby sees in Kany's direction, he snips his hand causing him to shout out and cover in the sand too. Later on, the TV commercials kicked-in, the person that was recording the episode stopped recording, and no other tape of it has been spread out online.

Trivia

  • Pthis article was ptotally not written way after pthe last minute.
  • Kany has, is, and will ask you to drink water. If you don't, it will make sure that you do still.
