Artwork of the Spin Boarder Metamortex Transformation

Spin Boarder is a Super Transformation in Kirby's Epic Yarn and Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn. It first debuts in Rainbow Falls, and it can also be seen in later levels such as Mt. Slide.

Abilities

Depending on who touches the transformation circle first, Kirby or Prince Fluff turns into a penguin-like rider on a surfboard. Kirby or Prince Fluff then moves by himself, usually due to gravity or running water in high speeds. After Kirby does a jump, he can spin to gain further horizontal distance; spinning on an enemy grants him an even further distance. The transformation ends, like all other transformations, ends when the transformation hits a green line.

When two players are playing, if either Kirby or Prince Fluff is the one who does not touch the transformation circle, he ends up as a small bird that perches on top of the rider. Kirby or Prince Fluff can then help the rider by flapping wings to aid in jumping and spinning.
