Kabu is a recurring enemy in the Kirby series. It has appeared in many games. Kabu generally attacks by spinning back and forth. Dekabu, the larger version of Kabu, can also spit out Kabus. Kirby can inhale Kabus, but Kabus do not have a Copy Ability.
Game Appearances
- In Kirby's Dream Land, it used its normal attack. It also can fade out and reappear. In the extra mode, he is replaced by Grumples.
- Kabu also appears in Kirby's Dream Land 2 and 3.
- In Kirby's Adventure, Kabu appears as an enemy again, with a similar attack pattern.
- In Kirby Super Star, Kabu is a common enemy with the same attack pattern as he had in Kirby's Dream Land.
- In Kirby's Pinball Land, Kabus appear in the Whispy Woods Stage. Once Kirby pounds six Kabus, a Dekabu will appear.
- In Kirby's Dream Course, Kabu is another common enemy.
- In Kirby's Avalanche, Kabu is the sixth challenger Kirby will face. It acts cocky at the beginning of the race.[1].
- In Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land, Kabu is exactly like he was in the original Kirby's Adventure.
- In Kirby Super Star, Kabu reappears. His counterpart Grumples also appears in the Revenge of the King stage.
- In Kirby: Right Back at Ya!, Kabu was a deity to the public. They often asked him for guidance. He sheltered the Warp Star and the Star Warriors.
Appearance
Kabu is a stone head. His rough skin is usually a crimson or silver. It has a round top and a flat bottom. He has two holes in place of eyes. He also has a nose and a mouth. In some games Kabu is cube shaped.
