- This article is about the first stage in Kirby Star Allies. For the Battle Stage in Kirby Fighters 2, see Green Gardens (Battle Stage).
Green Gardens is the first stage of World of Peace - Dream Land in Kirby Star Allies. In this stage, Kirby learns how to toss Friend Hearts and make allies out of his enemies. It also serves as an introduction to creating ability combos such as Sizzle Sword and Blizzard Cutter. Completing this stage unlocks Donut Dome.
Overview
The stage begins - as most first stages do - with Kirby in a green field and a path leading to the right. Kirby will brush up on some basic techniques while walking down this path.
In the next area, a cutscene plays, where Kirby is ambushed by a Poppy Bros. Jr.. He panics at first, but it is here where he learns how to charm his foes, and does so on Poppy, who immediately becomes his best friend. The two venture forward together.
In the next area, Kirby can charm more enemies to join his team. Using slicing powers, they can cut down the hanging nuts to reveal food items and other objects. At the end of the path, a roadblock can be found which needs two party members to pull away.
From there, Kirby encounters a Burning Leo who he can also befriend. Using Leo's power, Kirby can augment moves like Sword and Cutter with the Sizzle enchantment. With this, he can cut a bomb further ahead while also lighting its fuse.
After that, more bombs can be found, and Waddle Doo can be picked up if Kirby so wishes. From there, a battle is fought with the first Mid-Boss in the game; Mr. Frosty. Defeating him yields the Ice ability, or a Chilly if a heart is tossed at him once downed. From there, another roadblock appears, which requires four allies to pull down. The stage exit lies just above.
In Kirby Star Allies' demo, the first rooms of Green Gardens are combined with other rooms of Honey Hill and Fruity Forest, forming The Grasslands Stage.
Rare Picture Piece Guide
After defeating Mr. Frosty, Kirby and his friends must venture forth, where they will find some burning logs blocking off a path. Using the Ice ability or the Blizzard enchantment can allow the team to get rid of this obstacle. This leads to a dead end with some tall grass. Cutting or burning the grass will yield this rare Picture Piece.

Trivia
- The "A Friend Heart Appears!" cutscene with Poppy Bros. Jr. only appears the first time this stage is played.
- The giant bombs which can be lit using the Sizzle augment don't actually harm Kirby or his friends should they be next to them when they explode. They do, however, harm enemies.
- The first playthrough of this stage is the only instance in the game in which it is impossible to get rid of friends by normal means.
