Its basic appearance is that of an elongated, "shark-finned" bombshell, bearing a skull mask, and is thought to be a bomb itself, although it rarely ever detonates. However, if Kirby attacks it directly, it will recoil, flying away and—unlike most enemies—exploding after flying a short distance.
Although it has not directly appeared in any game other than Kirby Air Ride, the enemy has also made various cameos in other games.
