It appears in [[Dedede Resort - Stage 9]], where it chases the Kirbys throughout the stage. It cannot be harmed directly, and will crush anything that gets in its way. In addition to its mere presence, Freezy Rex can attack in two ways. It can either charge, moving much quicker for a moment, or breathe ice at the Kirbys, freezing them solid if it connects.

To defeat Freezy Rex, the Kirbys will need to make it to the end of the tunnel, then activate a switch that will cause the beast to fall, then get buried in rubble.
