Otherwise, how would anyone even see your signature? So, what you'd want to do in this case is make a subpage for your user page (in this case, "User:Supergamer286/sig"). Then, I would suggest copy/pasting the code from someone else's signature and modifying it to make yours. Just remember not to accidentally change the signature of the person you are copying from.
