This article is about "Dark Clouds", titled "Gloomy Woods" in the British version, a theme from Kirby Mass Attack. For the location from the Kirby novel series, see Gloomy Woods.

"Woods Wayfarer" is a stage theme from Kirby Mass Attack primarily associated with Green Grounds. It was composed by Shogo Sakai.

Composition[edit]

Ten Kirbys adventure through the woods.

"Woods Wayfarer" is an upbeat piece in A major and 4/4. Its melody, played by a marimba, consists of a descending passage from an E to tonic and a skip back up, repeated with new subdominant harmonies and staying down. It then shifts to harmonic submediant, back to dominant, and an authentic resolution to tonic. The melody then repeats. The second section has no distinct melody, but follows the harmonic pattern of the first. A percussive intermission plays, and the track loops.
