Split[edit]
I've made my case in the notice as to why I think these should be split. I think distinguishing between melodies is the most important way to tell between one distinct song and another, and these two songs do not share a melody in my opinion. --Samwell (talk) 01:31, 12 May 2024 (UTC)
- That is specifically what I was grouping by, because otherwise the results theme is closer to "Melody Town" (its intro, at least). I've argued my case here prior to creating the page. - I went ahead and had a look at those posts. I should point out that from what I can see, you did not get approval for this specific merger in the second part, and as starpunch implied to me last night, she still didn't agree that these particular melodies were similar enough to be on the same page. I understand that having one's work on the wiki called into question can be frustrating, but that is the nature of the business. I am still not convinced at either point that these two melodies can be considered similar enough to be on one page, even if it could be argued that one "derived" from the other. I'm going to continue to make this point until you can demonstrate they are the same. --Samwell (talk) 14:58, 12 May 2024 (UTC)
