Samurai Kirby is one of the Nostalgic sub-games unlockable in Kirby Super Star Ultra.[1] This sub-game does not use the Nintendo DS exclusive features, the game is played by simply touching one button.[2] Unlike other games in Kirby Super Star Ultra, Samurai Kirby retains its dated graphical style. There are three levels of difficulty to choose from at the start of the game. This sub-game is only unlockable after completing the Meta Knightmare Ultra game. A very simliar game called Quick Draw appears in the game Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land.

Playing

Kirby stands against his opponent in a scene lined with bricks and a horizon level sun. The objective is to draw faster than the opponent after the signal (!).[3] "Drawing" simply consists of pressing any button after the on-screen signal. Drawing too soon restarts the round. Losing to any opponents ends the game. A sign in the lower right of the screen indicates the time from the signal to the reaction. Kirby's weapon changes depending on which opponent he's facing.
