Royal Road is the sixth level of Kirby: Triple Deluxe and the last of the six lands in the kingdom of Floralia. It has five regular stages, a boss stage, and two EX stages. The level is effectively one big castle complex, with an additional floating prison complex above it. There are sixteen Sun Stones to collect in this level, with one each in Stages 2, 4 and EX 2, three each in Stages 1, 3 and EX, and four in Stage 5. All the previous bosses are fought here again throughout the stages, and the primary bosses vary depending on which game-mode is being played. In Story Mode, the bosses are Masked Dedede and Queen Sectonia. In Dededetour!, they are Queen Sectonia DX, Shadow Dedede and Dark Meta Knight's Revenge.

Stages

Stage 1

Prelude: The stage begins on a flat platform spanning a bottomless pit, with many more similar platforms in the background, all in front of a wide castle gate. No enemies are present as Kirby jumps from platform to platform using repeated 3-D Warp Stars, until the last platform contains a normal Warp Star which, upon embarking, the castle gates lock up to attempt to prevent Kirby entering and Shotzos open up in the walls to try and fire at him. This does not prevent him from simply crashing through the door, which leads to the next section.

Section 1: The Warp Star crashes into a hall inside the castle, with a semi-strong wind current going to the right. Insectoid Waddle Dees attempt to jump at Kirby from the background. The path continues past many more enemies, including insect Gordos, which finishes to the right, where an insect Lanzer guards the door to the next section.

Section 2: The door leads to an even wider hallway, as a large roving tank piloted by Waddle Dees in the background attempts to harass Kirby at every turn. Kirby can take cover behind barriers to avoid getting hit, but some of these barriers are fragile and will break after being hit enough times. A Keychain can be found under one of the fragile wall sections. Further on, a Bomb Block barrier can be broken to reveal a chamber below the main path where a Moonja guards a barrel with a Sun Stone in it. The door to the next section can be found at the far right inside another Bomb Block barrier.

Section 3: The door leads to a hallway that leads to the left, where Bandana Waddle Dee gives Kirby a food item to hang on to. From there, the Fire and Hammer abilities are available on Copy Pedestals between a ladder that leads up to a separate chamber which contains numerous Waddle Dees and Bronto Burts. Another ladder on the right side leads up to yet another chamber with numerous enemies in it. One more ladder leads up to a narrow hallway with a gust blowing from the right where Gigant Edge is fought. Defeating it yields Kirby the Sword ability. From there, a door appears to lead to the next section, but another separate chamber can be found above which contains a few stars and a Maxim Tomato.

Section 4: The door leads to a hall with no floor and a spiked ceiling, along with a left-leading wind. A Tilt Cannon can be utilized here, though firing it at the wrong time will cost Kirby a stock. From there, Kirby will have to fire himself between several cannons in order to move forward. As the hall continues past a cannon chain, one particular cannon can be used to fire through a hole in the ceiling to reach an optional doorway that leads to another Sun Stone. From there, a cannon will take Kirby to the next section.

Section 5: The door leads to a large hallway where another tank patrols the background. The tank fire is capable of breaking away the floor with its shots. One of the walkways contains a Keychain. As Kirby progresses, he ought to avoid the Sleep Copy Pedestal that would immobilize him in the wake of the tank's fire. After enough trouble, Kirby can activate a Bomb Block to take out the floor under the tank, causing it to fall into a pit and be smashed. Inside a barrel, a 3-D Warp Star can take Kirby to the background to obtain some treasures that would have been taken out by the tank had it been allowed to continue, including a chest with a Sun Stone in it. Additionally, to the left, a unique Golden Keychain can be found under the bridge. Back on the main path, past a door that opens and closes to a ceiling switch, a Beetley guards the stage exit.
