Master Hand is a Mid-Boss in the Kirby series, making his debut in the Super Smash Bros. series. He is a disembodied white glove, often paired with Crazy Hand, Master Hand's counterpart.

Super Smash Bros. series

Master Hand has appeared in every game of the Super Smash Bros. series to date. In each game, he is the final boss of the "Classic" single-player mode. He is the only character faced in the single-player mode whose health is measured in a decreasing amount of HP, as opposed to the accumulating-percentage system used elsewhere in the game. In Melee and Brawl, if the unknown reader's character reaches the final battle under a certain time, Master Hand is joined by Crazy Hand, the left hand of the pair. Master and Crazy Hand both have moves similar to Wham Bam Rock and Wham Bam Jewel.

Kirby & the Amazing Mirror

Master Hand appears as a Mid-Boss, as well as a boss, in Kirby & the Amazing Mirror. As the former, he appears alone, and when defeated, provides Kirby with the Smash ability if sucked in and swallowed. As a boss, he appears together with Crazy Hand, defending the Mirror Shard of Candy Constellation.
