Kabu is a recurring enemy in the Kirby series. It has appeared in many games, such as Kirby Super Star and Kirby & The Amazing Mirror. Kabu generally attacks by simply spinning back and forth. Dekabu, the larger version of Kabu, also can bounce around spit out Kabus. Kirby can inhale Kabu, but does not get a power-up.
Game Appearances
Kabu: Kirby's Dream Land-Used its normal attack, as well as being able to fade out and in. Kirby's Pinball Land-In Whispy Woods, Kirby had to pound six Kabus, then a Dekabu would appear! Once he pounded the Dekabu, Kirby got sent in one of five directions. Kirby had to keep hitting the Dekabu until he went to the next area. Kirby's Dream Course-Kabu is a common enemy. Kirby's Avalanche-Kabu was the sixth challenger Kirby faced. It said, "Your road to glory ends here." before the race. Kabu also appeared in Kirby's Block Ball, Kirby Air Ride, Kirby's Adventure, Kirby's Dream Land 2, Kirby Super Star, Kirby's Dream Land 3, Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land, Kirby Canvas Curse, and Kirby Super Star Ultra.

In Kirby: Right Back at Ya!, Kabu was sort of a god to the people, and they often asked him for guidance. He was the location of the Warp Star and a shelter for Star Warriors.
Appearance
Kabu is a stone statue of a head, usually a bronze-like color. It has a round top and a flat bottom, with two eye holes, a nose, and a mouth. Dekabu is a larger Kabu.
