In ''[[Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land]]'', official artwork confirms that Meta Knight wields Galaxia, its first proper appearance in a ''Kirby'' game. In this case, it replaces the original sword he had used in ''[[Kirby's Adventure]]''. In this game (as well as ''Kirby: Squeak Squad'' and ''Kirby Super Star Ultra''), Meta Knight's sword is depicted as a generic golden sword in his in-game sprites, despite being visible as Galaxia in official artwork and larger in-game depictions. It can be presumed that this is due to the limited size of his sprite making it difficult to use Galaxia's proper design.
