The Flight Warpstar is a ridable machine in Kirby Air Ride. As its name implies, it is one of the best gliders available. The most unique trait of this machine is that it is the lone one which can only be used in City Trial's Free Run mode. This is perhaps because, as its flavor text suggests, it was merely a prototype design for the Warpstar.

Appearance

This vehicle appears much like the standard Warpstar. However, it is more elongated, and is colored an orange-red hue rather than yellow.

Mechanics

Like its cousin the Warpstar, this machine is average in most areas. Unlike its cousin, however, is has incredibly high gliding ability. While it does not accelerate in the air to the extent of other great gliders, like the Winged Star, it can reach heights and distances unmatched by ordinary machines. The only one which can hope to outdo it in those areas, without the aid of patches, is the legendary Dragoon.

The Flight Warpstar is almost identical to the Warpstar outside of gliding. However, it does have a marginally higher top speed and slightly lower turning capability.

How to Unlock

This machine cannot be used in Air Ride, nor in City Trial's main mode. It can only be used in City Trial's Free Run, and is stored in the same basement with most of the game's other machines from the get-go.

"You can ride this machine only in the Free Run mode of City Trial. It's really just a Warpstar with flight ability. It's best used for gliding practice."
