File:Perara.pngPerara is a flying enemy from Kirby: Squeak Squad which yields no Copy Ability if swallowed by Kirby. It resembles a blue flatworm in appearance, and floats in place by undulating its body. As with most enemies, Perara's only means of harming Kirby is by collision, which will also defeat the Perara. It tends to hover in place until Kirby attempts to pass underneath. At this, the Perara will sweep back and forth as it descends until it hits Kirby, is attacked, or touches the ground. In the event that Perara does land on the ground, it will rest for a short moment, and then leap back into the air and resume hovering in place until Kirby gets near again. Conversely, Perara will ignore Kirby if he passes overhead.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl

Perara appears as a collectable sticker in this game. When used in The Subspace Emissary, it will grant +13 to slash resistance, and works with any character.

Trivia

  • If the floor that a Perara is resting on happens to be removed, such as a Star Block or a block tied to a Bomb Block, the Perara will continue to act as if the floor is still there, resting on thin air until rebounding as usual.
