N-Z is an enemy which can be found only in Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards. It should be noted that N-Z is the first enemy Kirby encounters, first appearing on Pop Star's first stage. Being the first enemy, they are completely defenseless, and may only harm Kirby if he runs into one. They are also neutral, as they will not give Kirby any abilities if sucked into his mouth.

Appearance

Relatively similar to Kirby, they sport a black coat, with white shoes and have pointed ears which are partly folded behind their head. N-Z could be considered semi-common, because it appears on three Stars out of the seven in total. Oddly enough, it only appears on the final part of stage three on Ripple Star, and exclusively on Dark Star as the only enemy besides Zero Two. Due to this, is can be speculated that N-Z is made out of Dark Matter, as it resides in a place where only Dark Matter exists.
