Kirby & the Amazing Mirror
This is the Master ability's first (and so far, only) game appearance. After Dark Meta Knight is killed, a large vortex appears that leads to the lair of the game's final boss, Dark Mind. As the Kirbies jump into the vortex, the real Meta Knight, who is present, throws in his sword, Galaxia, to help the Kirbies. When the Kirbies land in Dark Mind's lair, Galaxia is there, plunged into a pedestal in the ground. Word's on the screen say "Get it!". When Kirby touches the sword, he automatically gets the Master ability. Master is the most powerful ability in the game. It has many different moves depending on which direction the player presses while pushing the B button. The ability has no hat, and can solve every puzzle in the game except for those that require mini Kirby.
Moveset
B- Sword Slice. Kirby swings his sword.
BBB- Multi-Slice. Kirby swings his sword repeatedly.
Hold B- Sword Beam. Kirby charges up the sword, and when the button is released, fires an energy wave.
B Side - Drill Rush. Kirby rushes forward in a corkscrew formation holding Galaxia forward. The move later appears in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
B Down (in the air) - Stab. Kirby plunges downwards with the sword.
B Up- Sword Thrust. Kirby thrusts the sword upward. The move later appears in Kirby Super Star Ultra, as one of Meta Knight's moves in Meta Knightmare Ultra.
B (slide) plus Up B - Final Cutter. Basically the same as the move from Super Star
Trivia
- In-game, the jewel on the hilt is red. However, official artwork erroneously shows the jewel as blue-green.
- Kirby also wields Galaxia on two occasions in Kirby: Right Back at Ya! (in Hour of the WolfWrath and Crusade for the Blade) but with his Sword hat. The ability isn't named, but the moveset is almost identical, so it is presumed to be this ability.
