KatAMGiantRocky.png Giant Rocky is a rare large enemy appearing exclusively in Kirby & The Amazing Mirror. It resembles Rocky, but is more massive, has an angry-looking mouth and eyebrows and wears a yellow mining helmet on its head instead of a bandana. Like the smaller variety, its flat, yellow feet are not always visible.

Behavior

Unlike regular Rockies, Giant Rockies cannot walk. Instead, they rest on the ground motionlessly until Kirby comes near, at which point they start moving by leaping into the air very quickly, pausing for a moment and finally attempting to smash down on him, harming him if they should succeed. Giant Rocky is one of the few enemies capable of harming other enemies, using its falling pound attack. Giant Rockies possess a solid amount of health and, like other large enemies in the game, take longer to inhale than smaller ones. As is the case with their lesser cousins, inhaling and swallowing a Giant Rocky grants Kirby the Stone Copy Ability.

Locations

Giant Rocky can be sparsely found in every major region of the Mirror World except for Radish Ruins.
