Galacta Knight is a powerful boss in Kirby Super Star Ultra. He is the final boss of Meta Knightmare Ultra, where he is fought by Meta Knight, and the second to last boss in The True Arena, where he is fought by Kirby. In Meta Knightmare Ultra, Meta Knight meets Nova, who grants him one wish. Meta Knight wishes to fight the strongest warrior in the galaxy so that he may become stronger, so Nova unlocks Galacta Knight, who had been sealed away because of his immense power. He greatly resembles Meta Knight, even being the same size. His mask has a cross shape on it for his eyes instead of a horizontal slit. Unlike Meta Knight's bat wings, Galacta Knight has feathered wings. He fights with a pink lance and a shield with a four-pointed star on it. Galacta Knight also appears in The True Arena in Kirby's Return to Dream Land, appearing before Kirby fights Magolor EX.
Attack Style
Galacta Knight's battle tactics are very reminiscent of Meta Knight's, only his are more powerful with a wider arsenal. With his lance, he will do a down thrust from overhead, plunge it into the ground to release a shock wave, do a rapid stab with considerable reach, and fly around the battlefield with it outstretched. He also has a liking for tornadoes like Meta Knight. He will go to the edge of the screen and unleash a huge tornado, not unlike Mach Tornado. He will also wrap himself in a tornado and bounce around the stage. He can also fire energy waves from his shield. Also like Meta Knight, he will retreat from battle and force his opponent to fight regular enemies. He will also go to the
of the screen and fire a laser 360 degrees around him. One last attack of his is going to the
of the screen and calling forth pillars of fire.
Trivia
- Galacta Knight was sealed away because he was too powerful, but Meta Knight defeats him and Kirby defeats him twice, yet for some reason, Meta-Knight and Kirby are not deemed "too powerful" to be sealed away as well.
- Unlike most bosses, which lose over half of their health when hit by a Mach Tornado, Galacta Knight loses only a small fraction of his health, so it is best to save Meta Knight's energy for healing and calling a helper.
