My apologies for the edit war; it took me a few minutes to notice that my edits were being reverted (as opposed to me simply missing a few points of interest). Anyways, why the heck are the sentences regarding objectives that entail mission completion missing periods at the end while the sentences about Stamp Rally and game completion threshold objectives have them? - Personally, I feel adding the periods to the sentences make sense in the sense of consistency, as all other sentences in the unlock criteria end with sentences. There is really no reason for some to not end with periods that way. Sure, ending sentences with periods isn't always required in the wiki in some contexts, like in image captions, but in the context of the page, making the whole column consistent in that sense makes perfect sense. So, I also don't agree with Owen's revert, and it certainly wasn't "Don't fix something that doesn't really need fixing". - Gigi (talk • edits) 02:20, 17 May 2024 (UTC)
- My thoughts precisely; the inconsistency might throw the reader off. That's also the reason I added an Oxford comma despite that being more of a case of "fixing something that doesn't need fixing"; there was another sentence further down the page that already had an Oxford comma, so I was just trying to make the whole section internally consistent. - Honest thoughts on this one, I don't think it really hurts to add periods to these sentences in the table for the sake of formality and/or consistency. Just putting my twenty cents here. I'd have to agree though, Owen may be jumping the gun way too fast without consulting anyone editing this article first in a talkpage, which I feel doesn't do it right for a Staff member. We're not going to say no at the immediate, as there's always a window for us to review before reverting edits if one of us feels something is off. --
