Kirby Mass Attack[1] (known in Japan as あつめて!カービィ (Atsumete! Kābī), lit. "Assemble! Kirby") is a Nintendo DS game. Nintendo first revealed a few seconds of it at 03:00 in a DS promotional video. The game was further revealed in Nintendo Power Magazine May 2011 issue, revealing the name.

In the game, Kirby is on a chain of islands called Popopo islands. A villain known as Necrodeus zaps Kirby as he is taking a nap, causing him to split him into ten weaker Kirbys that he can destroy one by one. But one Kirby manages to survive unharmed and finds the hero's heart that popped out of him when he was split. Kirby and the hero's heart go on a quest to stop Necrodeus from covering Dream Land with darkness.

Due to being split into ten by the game's villain, Kirby has again lost the ability to inhale or float, as he had in Kirby Canvas Curse and Kirby's Epic Yarn. Instead, players can use the DS stylus to control up to 10 Kirbys at once to use their combined strength to gang up on foes, solve puzzles, and fight bosses. The game like several other Kirby games is a side-scroller. You can add more Kirbys to the group by filling up the gauge at the top screen or by eating fruits. If a Kirby takes damage, it will turn blue. If it takes more damage, it will turn into an angel and leave the group. And if it is caught by a non-angel Kirby, it will turn blue and revive.
