Regarding page creation[edit]

Hello Login. I saw you created a "Kirby Series History" page that I had to delete for multiple reasons, but in particular because it was a stub, an orphaned page, and it appeared to cover duplicate content (which you can find in Kirby (series), Kirby's Dream Land/development and even Kirby's History). I would highly recommend you to read our article creation policy before you create a new page again. First, as outlined in our article creation policy, we do not allow new stubs on WiKirby. If you want to work on a page for a long time, I recommend you to start a sandbox subpage and work on it there before moving the page to mainspace. Second, the page you created wasn't linked from any page, so it was orphaned. It's highly recommended to, before you create a new page, you see if it's linked in other pages, or discuss with other editors first to ask if others feel it's needed. If you are looking for pages to create, you should check either the wanted pages special page or the wanted pages list on Project Clean-Up. Finally, to go with that actually, there is the uniqueness principle of new pages. You need to think before you even think of creating a new page if the page will cover unique enough content to justify its existence.

I hope this helps, and if you have any questions, feel free to ask. - Gigi (talkedits) 23:36, 24 July 2023 (UTC)
