Regarding image sourcing

Greetings, DarkMatterMan4500. I saw that you recently tried to upload something that you sourced from the Kirby Wiki on Fandom. I appreciate the intent to add an image to the wiki that was missing, but we absolutely cannot allow images taken from the Kirby Wiki on Fandom here any longer. The main reasons for that are that the Fandom wiki does not source their images properly in the vast majority of circumstances, so using them as a source would be to inherit that potential legal trouble. Also, it just seems ingenuine for us to be copying another Kirby wiki even if that's what they do to us.

We are actually specifically trying to get rid of all improperly-sourced images from the wiki, with the intention being to have zero left by the end of the year. That naturally includes any images that were found to have been taken from the Fandom wiki. You can read up more on these topics here and here. Regarding your vote in the AEiC election

While you don't have to elaborate much, you have to at least explain better why you are voting for a candidate, and not just "why not". Uploading game screenshots

Greetings, DarkMatterMan4500. The most recent image you uploaded, "File:KSSU-Unable-To-Read-Save-Data.png" was deleted because it did not meet the appropriate standards of quality on WiKirby.

Specifically, it was a game screenshot that was not the appropriate resolution for the game itself. While it was not always the case, WiKirby now requires all game screenshots to meet the native resolution of the game in question (or an appropriate upscale depending on port or official emulation such as Virtual Console). In this case specifically (a screenshot from Kirby Super Star Ultra on the Nintendo DS), it must be 256x192 pixels in width and height respectively (256x384 if using both screens). Feel free to reupload the image once you have met those specifications, but keep in mind that simply resizing the image after taking it will likely not work if the image gains artifacts as a result. Regarding merch images
