Kirby's Dream Land[edit]

Kirby to the Rescue!
On a tiny star somewhere far, far away from earth[sic], there is a very special place called Dream Land. The Dream Landers are very happy people who use their magical Sparkling Stars to work and play among the heavens. That is until one dark night when the gluttonous King Dedede and his rotten band of thieves swooped down from neighboring Mt. Dedede for a midnight snack in Dream Land. Not only did they steal all their food, but they also stole the Dream Landers' treasured Sparkling Stars as well.

Because the Dream Landers didn't have the Sparkling Stars to gather food anymore, they began to get very hungry. Suddenly, a spry little boy named Kirby happened along and said "Don't worry, I'll get your food and your Sparkling Stars back!". With these words, Kirby set off his quest toward the dreaded Mt. Dedede. We wish him luck!

Kirby's Adventure[edit]

A Crisis in Dream Land!
Light years away,.......

Light years away, on a tiny star not visible from Earth, is the magical, peaceful place known as Dream Land. The beings that inhabit this wondrous world live a blissful existence that centers on eating, sleeping and playing. An example of their care-free customs include after-lunch feast nap. After they awaken from their nap, the Dream Landers discuss their dreams and fervently hope that each other's fondest wishes come true.

One day, a young Dream Lander named Kirby awoke from his after-lunch nap and felt terrible. "What happened?" he wondered to himself. "I didn't have any dreams during mu lunch nap!" This lach of dreams left Kirby feeling very uneasy. After talking to some of his friends, he found that the problem was much more serious than he had thought, for they had not experienced any dreams either! "Something must have happened to the Dream Spring!" they exclaimed in unison.

The Dream Spring is a magical well that is a reservoir for all the dreams of the inhabitants of Dream Land. Dreams also flow out of the Dream Spring and envelop Dream Land, granting all sleeping beings enjoyable dreams.

Legends told that the Dream Spring was created by a magical artifact known as Star Rod. The sparkling star on the tip of this scepter was an actual fragment of a star that had landed in Dream Land in the distant past. The Star Rod now provided energy to the Dream Spring and served as the very symbol Dream Land.

The lack of dreams made everyone in Dream Land feel restless and irritable. The joyful laughter that had once resounded throughout Dream Land could no longer be heard at all. Things were bleak. Kirby, the roly-poly hero of Dream Land, boldly announced his intentions to investigate the Dream Spring and find the cause for all the trouble.

Upon reaching the Dream Spring, who he find but King Dedede, bathing in its magical waters. In the past (see Kirby's Dream Land™️ for Game Boy®), King Dedede had caused mischief in Dream Land by stealing all the Dream Landers' food and Sparkling Stars. Now, in the middle of Dream Spring, in place of Star Rod, sat Dedede, covered with bubble bath.

"So, you're up to your old tricks again, eh, Dedede?!" accused Kirby.
"What are you talking about, young pudge ball" Dedede looked surprised. "I thought I'd everyone a favor by..."
"No, no, no!" Kirby shook his head. "I won't listen to your tricks! What have you done with Star Rod?!"
"Oh, that old thing," King Dedede said nonchalantly. "I broke it into seven pieces and gave each piece to my friends..."
"What was Dedede thinking?!" Kirby wondered. Before hearing any more of what Dedede had to say, Kirby set off long trek to gather the pieces of the Star Rod and return them to the Dream Spring. Hopefully, he could return the sparkle to the Dream Spring so that the people of Dream Land could again enjoy their happy midday naps.

Kirby's Avalanche[edit]

Welcome to Dream Land, a small and peaceful country situated on a far away little star. In Dream Land the local pastime is a puzzle game called "Avalanche." Kirby decided that since every Dream Lander plays the game, it would be a great idea to have a country-wide competition to determine who is the best player of all.

After months of organizing, the First Annual Dream Land's Avalanche Competition was finally announced. To be held at the Dream Fountain, this would be the biggest event in the history of Dream Land!

All the Dream Landers have been practicing, and all plan to attend and compete. Like Kirby, they have been dreaming sweet dreams of becoming the Avalanche Champion and claiming the highly sought after "Dream Fountain Cup."

The rules for the competition are quite simple: Everyone will travel by foot to the Dream Fountain. If, while on their journey, two Dream Landers happen to meet, they must challenge each other to an Avalanche match. Only the winner of the match may continue onward towards the Dream Fountain. In this way, the number of competitors will be whittled down to a manageable size before the final action at the Dream Fountain.

Can you help guide Kirby through the competition so he arrives successfully at the Dream Fountain? Can he rise above the grizzled veterans and achieve his dream of becoming the reigning champion? His fate is in your hands!

Kirby's Dream Land 3[edit]

One day, Kirby and Gooey went fishing. Birds were singing. The sun was shining. It was such a nice day that they felt more like napping than fishing.

As Kirby and Gooey relaxed, they noticed a black, cloud-like object appear in the PopStar sky!

The black object started to spit out small clouds. These clouds were scattered everywhere.

Just then, Coo appeared, looking panicked. "Hurry, Kirby!" he said. "PopStar's in BIG trouble!"

The small clouds took control of King Dedede and his minions. They started to do terrible things!

Now, Kirby and his friends have left to get rid of these strange clouds and save PopStar!

Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards[edit]

The Crystal Shards
In a distant corner of the galaxy, fairies lived peacefully on the planet called Ripple Star. But then one day, a mysterious black cloud appeared and surrounded the peaceful planet. The cloud (a sinister force known as Dark Matter) had come in search of the fairies’ secret treasure – their shining Crystal.

A fairy named Ribbon knew that dreadful things would come to pass if Dark Matter gained control of the powerful Crystal. She grabbed the shining stone and escaped from Ripple Star – just before the planet was completely engulfed.

However, as Ribbon fled, three dark clouds split from the mass of Dark Matter to chase her through space. When they caught up with her and attacked, the fairies’ crystal shattered into tiny shards, which dropped like falling stars onto the many planets in the solar system.

Kirby's Epic Yarn[edit]

One day in the peaceful kingdom of Dream Land, Kirby™ was out for a stroll when he spotted his favorite food, a bright red tomato, sitting on top of a bush. As soon as he tried to swallow the tomato, though, a caped sorcerer appeared!

“Hey! That’s my magic Metamato!” the sorcerer shouted.

But Kirby gulped the Metamato right down! Just then, a white sock around the sorcerer’s neck began to glow…and Kirby was sucked right into the sock!

It took Kirby a moment to realize that somehow the sock had transported him to a world made completely of cloth and yarn. And to his great surprise, he saw that his whole body was made out of yarn!

Then Kirby noticed a yarn monster chasing a blue yarn boy! Kirby transformed into a car and saved the boy from the monster. Apparently, that strange Metamato gave Kirby the power to seamlessly transform into a car and…who knows what else?

The blue yarn boy said his name was Fluff and that he was the prince of Patch Land. Prince Fluff explained that he was on a journey to stitch the continents of Patch Land back together after they had been torn apart by Yin-Yarn the Sorcerer. When Kirby heard this, he decided to help Prince Fluff save Patch Land and destroy the evil Yin-Yarn!
