Just so you guys know, there's some artwork of the squeaks in Nintendo's Downloadable Manual. Even if you can't transparent the image, you could save time for those who can by grabbing the shot and uploading it to the Image Requests page. Thanks in advance to anyone to take up the task. split and category[edit]

Should each of the members of the squeaks, keeping the misc. Squeaks merged or split from the article? They seem notable enough for articles. This only shows a little information, and doesn't give any information on the sub-game appearances. Also, should Daroach really count for a Triple Star enemy? It is just given for a Copy Ability to use against Dark Nebula. He doesn't throw anything giving it, nor does he give it when swallowed. It's inevitable to get it, like the Star Rod from Adventure and Nightmare in Dream Land. Turtwig A (talk | contribs) 17:44, 12 July 2010 (UTC)

I haven't played this one yet, although I do own it now. But in general, I prefer pages like this to have some general information and use the Template:Main for each section and have the text be a summary of the character and not a repeat of what will be in the character page. As for your second question, I'm thinking the rare items might have to be combined to a broader Rare-Ability category or something, but that's just an idea. I brought Vellidragon up to admin level to assist in organizational matters like this, and pledge to fully back what she thinks will be the best possible option. In the mean time, I'll get our CC pages going and matching guides at StrategyWiki.

Split supported; this article should only cover the generic, unnamed Squeaks in detail. The named characters all have unique appearances, personalities and battle styles, so I'm not sure why they are all in one article anyway. They should get their own articles, with a short description & link to the main article in this one, as Axiomist suggested. Mecha-Kracko and Yadogaine, in my opinion, should not have their own sections here, as they are not Squeaks - they could be mentioned in a short description of Doc, however, with their names linking to their own respective articles. (As nobody seems to be opposing a split, if anyone wants to split this, feel free to do so. If nobody wants to, I may do so later.)--Vellidragon 14:01, 20 July 2010 (UTC)
Agreed per Vellidragon; I can start now, if no-one objects. This can't realistically be done by the delete-restore-move-restore process needed to split histories, since so much was written at once. Moydow 14:25, 20 July 2010 (UTC)
Done, but someone else will need to do the short sections linking to the new articles. I don't own this game (in fact I've never even seen it on sale where I live) so I couldn't do them justice. Moydow 17:08, 20 July 2010 (UTC)
Looking at the downloadable manual now, I noticed it actually refers to the standard Squeaks without individual names as "Squeakers" rather than simply "Squeaks" (they are still listed in the "Squeaks" section, however, together with the named (Mid-)Bosses). Should their section here simply be renamed from "Regular Squeaks" to "Squeakers" with the coverage remaining the same, or do they need to be split into another article as well because of the name?--Vellidragon 14:05, 21 July 2010 (UTC)
Maybe. They do appear quite frequently, and do as much as the smaller enemies, probably even more. Turtwig A (talk | contribs) 02:57, 22 July 2010 (UTC)
I'm eager to play it, but I decided to fully document Canvas Curse before starting :p I trust the three of you to form a plan and implement it without further input from me. One thing I would agree to is changing "Regular Squeaks" since they aren't called "regular". Axiomist (talk) 03:18, 22 July 2010 (UTC)

You guys are a bit wrong on Storo. Storo isn't "slightly overweight" in the smallest! He's obese!
