Name?[edit]

This was moved from Pon Con to Pon & Con with the moving reason "correct name", but no source was given. Where does the name with the ampersand come from? The game calls them "Pon Con" on the level map.--Vellidragon 14:25, 11 September 2010 (CDT)

I agree with Velli. And plus, whats with the amp;? Joey 12 September 2010 (EST)

It's a technical glitch when you use the "&" sign in a title. Our Amazing Mirror page has the same problem. --Stupid Name Guy, Remino52 11:40, 12 September 2010 (CDT)
It's something that broke with the MediaWiki Upgrade. 1.15 had patches for it, and I'm guessing the patches were no longer working after the upgrade. Even Zelda Wiki.org has the issue. see Sword & Shield Maze or Ball & Chain Trooper. I'm not aware of any fixes for it just yet, but the people that work on MediaWiki jump at every chance to fix something small like this, so I expect to find a patch within the month. & is probably there because they are seperate entities, or at least as far as I know. Turtwig A (talk | contribs) 17:04, 12 September 2010 (CDT)
Most likely, but we shouldn't call them "Pon & Con" if they, as a group, are officially referred to as Pon Con (unless the current title is also officially used). It'd be like changing the Meta-Knights to "Ax Knight, Mace Knight, Javelin Knight & Trident Knight".--Vellidragon 18:02, 12 September 2010 (CDT)
About the &, it appears to have been fixed in the most recent SVN dump of 1.16. I just downloaded it and tested the ampersand, and it appears fine. Moydow 11:59, 17 September 2010 (CDT)

So, as nobody seems to be able to name a source for "Pon & Con" with ampersand, would everyone agree if I moved this back to Pon Con? (It's not in the manual, if anyone was wondering. They're called "Raccoon & Fox" there for some reason, but the manual also spells every other boss wrong or doesn't name them at all.)--Vellidragon 10:34, 5 October 2010 (CDT)

I'd agree. It's completely unsourced, and was moved without discussion. Usually articles with disputed titles are discussed. Turtwig A (talk | contribs) 15:34, 5 October 2010 (CDT)
