Nelly[edit]

I still think it would make more sense for Nelly to get its own page. It's a separate entity. --DeepFriedCabbage 15:16, 1 September 2019 (UTC)

For the most part, we don't make separate pages for enemies which are only associated with bosses. Examples include Co-Kracko, Co-Acro, and the children that follow Pon & Con or Goldon & Silvox. In addition, we typically won't make separate pages for team bosses which are never seen apart from each-other (such as the above mentioned, as well as Mr. Shine & Mr. Bright). If the argument that it is a separate entity should carry the day, then it would also follow that all of these examples should also have separate pages. Are you willing to vouch for all of these as well? (not a rhetorical question, btw.) --Fubaka (talk) 18:46, 1 September 2019 (UTC)
Wait a minute - Co-Kracko is literally the same thing as L'il Kracko (コクラッコ), the localizers just retranslated ko into the more natural l'il. Kirby's Epic Yarn is just the first time it appears as its own enemy in addition to being a spawn of Kracko. Since there is a precedent for former boss-only elements to appear elsewhere, I'm not entirely sure this is the best way to organize the articles, because to a casual reader, it makes it seem like there is a gap in our coverage. Okay, I see what you mean. In a way, it is is consistent to keep it like this. --DeepFriedCabbage 22:13, 1 September 2019 (UTC)

Two Articles on Nruff[edit]

It really doesn't make sense to go over the same entity in two articles. But we should either have Nelly as a section in Nruff's article, or split as its own, standalone article. I know Nelly doesn't appear in the series outside the Nruff fight, but that's no reason to have the boss occupying the same article when it already has one. This is like splitting Co-Acro as "Acro and Co-Acro". By the logic of splitting characters from the way appear, splitting Nruff (enemy) and Nruff (boss) is like splitting "King Dedede (Playable character)" and "King Dedede (Boss)". --DeepFriedCabbage 18:41, 18 April 2020 (UTC)
