Sliding laser robot

A sliding laser robot[conjectural title] is a stage prop that is present in Lollipop Land - Stage 2 in Kirby: Triple Deluxe. It can be described as a large red box with a mechanical face on the front which continuously fires four lasers out the top side. If Kirby touches these lasers, he will take damage and be knocked back. The lasers have a limited range, ending in sharp points. If the ceiling is far enough away, Kirby will be able to float over them unharmed.
The sliding laser robot cannot be defeated in the conventional sense, but it can be moved using Hypernova Inhale. Doing so allows Kirby to pull it towards him while moving backwards. If Kirby moves a sliding laser robot below a block of ice, it will melt the ice and reveal something behind it. If the sliding laser robot is moved to a tight space where it can no longer fire its lasers, it will adopt a sadder expression.
Trivia[edit]
- Sliding laser robots' faces can differ slightly. The first one Kirby encounters, for instance, has a small mustache.
