Level 5-2 is the second stage of Level 5 in Kirby's Blowout Blast.

Layout

Battling Waddle Dees in an intermediate ambush.

This stage has Kirby hopping over isolated platforms while heading to the right backed by a very tall wall. Along the way, he will need to deal with a number of guards as the path bends back a little along with the wall. From here, Kirby is stopped by am ambush featuring lots of Kabu on the move. Once this is dealt with, Kirby heads along another bend leading back toward the front and passes by a few more enemies along the road. Shortly thereafter, he is stopped by another ambush in a big hole. After clearing this, Kirby will need to hover back out to the right, then head down the last part of the walkway past more Spear Waddle Dees before reaching the last ambush area, where enemies come in from holes in the background wall. Once this ambush is cleared, the stage is complete.

• During the last enemy ambush, it is important to try and hit as many of the initial Kabu as possible with one exhale.

Level 5-2EX is the second stage of Level 5EX. It has the same layout as Level 5-2, but features a different array of enemies and score coin positions. The main differences in layout are as follows:

• Gordos and Scarfies are added to the stage in places.
• The enemy ambushes feature different enemy line-ups.
• Two Key Dees are added near the middle of the stage.
• The second enemy ambush location is moved from the hole to the split platform shortly after it.
• The last enemy ambush has Kirby confined to the central hole in the wall, giving him a smaller area to fight in.
