Floral Fields is the first stage in Dedede's Drum Dash Deluxe. It is a mellow-tempo stage set to a rearrangement of Floral Fields with few hazards.

Overview[edit]

This stage spans a total of 67 drums from beginning to end. It starts off with no real hazards, instead featuring easy-to-collect lines of Melody Coins. Further down the path, a few bumpers and sets of smaller drums can be found. Past these, some Waddle Dees and Bronto Burts can be found which should be avoided as the coin arches grow taller. After the halfway point, the King will need to contend with a small number of open pits as well as a Beetley. Toward the end, a gong can be hit with a backbeat to make more coins appear.

The secret version of Floral Fields contains an entirely different layout to that of the main game version, featuring more types of enemies and hazards. This stage spans a total of 58 drums from beginning to end, though there are many large gaps between the drums. New to the stage are many more types of enemies, and most of the drums have been switched out with more challenging ones along with wider gaps. There are also spiked hoops, breakable drums, prickly pencils, and more gongs near the end.

Trivia[edit]

  • Near the end of the stage, a keychain resembling Kirby's sprite from Kirby's Adventure can be seen hanging from a pinwheel in the background.
    • In the secret version, a keychain resembling Kirby's sprite from Kirby's Dream Land 3 can be seen hanging behind one of the wooden fixtures high up near the end of the stage, right before the gongs.
