Category talk:Power Combos
Name[edit]
The manual of Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards refers to these as Power Combos. Should that name be used for the category instead, or is Combination Abilities official as well?--Vellidragon 19:24, 8 June 2010 (UTC)
- Personaly, I think it should be renamed Copy Ability Combinations. But that is my opinoin. -- կրակ (խոսել) -- 19:47, 8 June 2010 (UTC)
- If that is the official name of the powers, then it is only logical to me to use that phrase instead of what we have now. --Stupid Name Guy, Remino52 20:20, 8 June 2010 (UTC)
- If there is an official name, we use it. Simple. So, "Power Combos" it is. - Edofenrir( talk) 23:27, 8 June 2010 (UTC)

Categorising[edit]
I removed the Copy Abilities category from the pages in this sub-category so it's possible to get a list of non-Power Combo Copy Abilities; previously, the Power Combos were both in this sub category and also the main category, which made it possible to narrow the abilities down to Power Combos, but not exclude them. If there was areason for these to be both in the main and the sub category though, feel free to add the tags back in.--Vellidragon 20:30, 9 June 2010 (UTC)
Coverage[edit]
This was brought up a long time ago, on one of the Power Combo's talk pages I believe, but I don't think there was a final consensus, and since edits have been made to Power Combo pages recently and I've been working on the Stone article in Notepad... There was a suggestion that instead of giving these Power Combos their own pages, they could instead be covered on the pages of their base abilities. There's a lot of these, and the majority of them have (or are likely going to have) very short articles with not much more to say about them, and Animal Friend/Copy Ability combinations are already covered on base ability & friend pages instead of getting their own article, so it would make sense to do the same thing for these Power Combos (which, after all, are also combinations, with no more or less notability than the friend/ability ones, in my opinion). Comments on this? :0 If we decide to do this, the result would likely be a table in each base ability article's Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards section listing all the combinations with a picture & description, similarly to how the combinations on Clean, for example, currently look.--Vellidragon 14:19, 14 January 2012 (CST)
