Wild Hammer is an Evolved Copy Ability based on Hammer that appears in Kirby and the Forgotten Land. This ability gives Kirby a frazzled blue hairdo and face paint to make him resemble Wild Bonkers. Kirby also wields a stone chisel that although is slow, has the capability to deal considerable damage, particularly when charged using Hammer Flip.
The blueprint for Wild Hammer can be found in Alivel Mall (Staff Side), inside a Treasure Chest which appears after defeating Wild Bonkers in a side room. Wild Hammer is required to play the Treasure Road stage Whack Attack! Wild Hammer Trial.
Moveset
All names are conjectural.
Wild Hammer moveset | ||
---|---|---|
Move | Button execution | Description |
Wild Hammer | B | Kirby slams his hammer in front of him. |
Heavy Hammer | B after Hammer | Kirby slams his hammer once more, which deals large damage. |
Giant Swing | B in midair | Kirby does a front flip with his hammer out to harm enemies ahead. |
Hammer Jump | Hold B after Giant Swing | Kirby slams his hammer towards the ground and bounces off it, boosting him into the air for a brief second. |
Hammer Flip | Hold B, then release | Kirby charges his hammer and swings it horizontally in front of him. Has three charges, with the third charge setting his hammer on fire. Like in Kirby Star Allies, charging this move for too long will cause the hammer's head to break. |
Counter Flip | B after dodging an attack | Kirby instantly uses the second charge of Hammer Flip. Holding the button allows Kirby to charge the move to the third charge. |
Trivia
- Wild Hammer is the only Mid-Boss related Evolved Copy Ability not to include the name of the wild Mid-Boss's original form (that being Bonkers). If it did, its name would likely have been "Bonkers Hammer".
