KRtDLD Characters (October 29th, 2023 - November 13, 2023)

KatFL GDC2023 New World concept art 1 (June 24th, 2023 - July 8th, 2023)

This image is concept art for the New World in Kirby and the Forgotten Land. This art (and all the other concept art) has not been seen by many people, despite the beauty of the image. Even though the concept of the image is very similar to what we got in the final game, the art here is unlike the art style from Forgotten Land, and gives a different idea on what the developers envisioned when creating the sprawling landscape of the New World. For these reasons, the image seems like it would be a good fit for the front page. What do you all think? --Basic Person (talk/contribs) 19:55, 24 June 2023 (UTC)

KatFL opening cutscene preview screenshot (May 3, 2023 - May 17, 2023)

Been thinking of some images to feature, and I think Forgotten Land's opening cutscene featuring Dream Land might be also a good image to feature. It showcases a greater, closer view of the Star Allies-era landscapes and flora that have been dotting Dream Land, and is rich and crisp in quality, especially when it's also a pre-rendered cutscene. EleCyon (talk) 14:19, 3 May 2023 (UTC)

  1. It's a great shot to show off the landscape of Kirby's home that might not be noticed otherwise. The borders at the top and bottom are a bit distracting, but that makes sense as a cutscene picture. ---PinkYoshiFan 15:03, 4 May 2023 (UTC)
  2. It's a fine picture to feature, though I've taken the liberty of swapping it out with my own capture version, since the original jpg image wasn't actually "rich and crisp in quality". --Samwell (talk) 16:21, 4 May 2023 (UTC)
  3. I really like this picture since it shows off how Dream Land is no ordinary place with the swirling clouds, the random hollowed-out hills and even just the trees (to me they look like chocolate candy canes). Kirby's home is a weird and wonderful place.--MetaKirbo 07:31, 18 May 2023 (UTC)

  1. The image is a little small, but I do like how it is made to look like it was hand-made, with Elline and Kirby in particular being supported by glass beams. I think it would be fine on the front page. --Samwell (talk) 03:19, 1 March 2023 (UTC)
  2. This image is just adorable! It really shows the spirit of adventuring in Canvas Curse, and you can really tell a lot of care and love was put into it to look like clay. Personally the end of the Rainbow Line is a little harsh on the eyes, but other than that everything looks amazing! GoldenDragonLeaf (talk · edits) 05:55, 3 March 2023 (UTC)
  3. I've always been fascinated by the clay style in which every element in Rainbow Curse was done. It's incredibly cute. 1. It's a good image, but the rule mentions 600 pixels wide specifically, and this is only 521 wide. It is over 600 tall though, so I'm not sure, it would probably depend on how strictly that rule is enforced. ---PinkYoshiFan 14:57, 1 March 2023 (UTC)

KSA Heroes in Another Dimension Wallpaper (January 30th, 2023 - February 4th, 2023)

I would like to nominate this wallpaper of Dream Friends protecting Kirby while battling The Three Mage-Sisters tag-team battle in Heroes in Another Dimension. It has a quite dramatic flair while depicting many characters from the series. Not only that, but discussions in the discord server have also mentioned that it would make a good featured image. 2. I still remember when I first saw this, I was worried that the mark on Kirby's head was going to be a permanent feature, and it made me kind of sad, but obviously that didn't end up being in the game at all. This is an excellent illustration, and it's strange that it's not in the actual game in any capacity. --Samwell (talk) 06:33, 3 February 2023 (UTC)

Kirby, Magolor, and Taranza look like they're just having a conversation under their shield while everyone fights for dear life LOL. -- Jellytost (talk) 14:27, 3 February 2023 (UTC)
  5. I didn't realize we had finally tracked down a source and uploaded this art to the wiki. So, by all means, let's feature this. - Gigi (talkedits) 17:24, 4 February 2023 (UTC)

Kirby and the Rainbow Curse banner art (October 7th, 2022 - October 21st, 2022)

Kirby and the Rainbow Curse is a pretty game, so having a featured image from it would be nifty. For me, the image stands out for presenting the entire foreground in "one line", accenting on the fact the game is 2D. Not many Kirby key arts do that. And although this might not have been the artist(s) intentions, it kinda reminds me of school-made mini theater models. What are your thoughts? Superbound (talk) 15:18, 7 October 2022 (UTC)

Though, I think that if a image representing Forgotten Land would be chosen, maybe the key art would be more appropriate, but that doesn't mean this one falls behind (I mean, the key art doesn't even have the Bat thingy!). -Zolerian (talk | contribs) 02:53, 6 October 2021 (UTC)

A Dream Above the Clouds - Celebration Picture (February 11th, 2021 - February 25th, 2021)

Looking at all those Celebration Pictures lately, and I found one that would look really neat for a featured image. It's clean, it's pastel-colored, it's cute, and it represents nearly every Animal Friend in the Dark Matter trilogy (excluding Nago). What do you think? EleCyon (talk) 06:06, 11 February 2021 (UTC)

Along with being charming and colorful, the style is different from that of the other Celebration Pictures, and several characters from the Dark Matter trilogy are featured here, which represents the trilogy quite nicely. King Dedede's Masterpiece (January 23rd, 2021 - February 6th, 2021)

Given that we are loyal subjects of Dream Land, we really ought to feature this breathtaking work of art painted by the King himself using bifocals and "perspectacles". While many of the other images can be argued to be prettier, I think this image in particular would be ideal for our front page, and would match our particular motif. Let me know if you think a different Celebration Picture should get the spotlight instead. --Fubaka (talk) 04:10, 30 July 2018 (UTC)

  1. I think it looks nice and Kirby with sunglasses is always cool. --Camerongiotto (talk) 16:02, 30 July 2018 (UTC)

  1. They all seem deserving a spot there, but I'd take The Great Labyrinth Battle to greet the great return of more minor main characters through the series. I guess it counts as a neutral opinion about this one. --Viperision (talk) 05:04, 30 July 2018 (UTC)

Kirby: Battle Royale Wallpaper (November 20th, 2017)

A huge and very clean wallpaper for the newest released title, Kirby: Battle Royale! This would be quite the catch to display on our main page. --Fubaka (Talk)

  1. Per the reasoning in the above nomination. And while KBR is no longer the most recent game in the series, that shouldn’t matter, as it is still a relatively new game (much newer than RtDL, at that) and does well at representing our wiki. I am in support of this picture’s featurement. -YFJ (talk · edits) 06:21, 8 April 2018 (UTC)

Kirby: Right Back At Ya! Promotional Art (July 6 2012)

I have never watched the show, but the quality of the promotional art is superb and very clear, and I like the colors on this image. I think this picture would look very nice on the main page. Aphelocomaマリオ

  1. Yeah, the picture looks good. I like how Kirby is the biggest, symbolizing how the main focus of our wiki is Kirby. It also showcases some of Kirby's friends and foes in the background, showing what Kirby is all about. The fact that they're all having fun and relaxing under Whispy Woods. Kirby's Return to Dream Land Group Art (June 25, 2012)

This is a beautiful image from the latest mainstream game we have, Kirby Returns to Dreamland! This image would look great on the main page! --Aphelocoma Mario (Talk)

  1. MissileBabyLuigi (Talk) I have to agree with the nominator. This is a beautiful image. The colors are pretty and the character placement doesn't make the image look clutters. Overall, it would look very good on the main page.
  2. I agree as well. This is a nice, colourful image showing some main characters and giving a taste of the equally colourful and somewhat whimsical environments Kirby games are famous for. Would be nice if it were bigger, though.--Vellidragon 10:57, 3 July 2012 (CDT)
  3. Christie02 (Talk) I also agree. This image is beutiful. The quality is good, and the colors match. I have to say, this picture will really look good on the main page.Christie 05:15, 14 September 2012 (CDT)Christie02

  • Hey, I'd like to remind everyone to follow the guidelines at the top of the page and sign with their signature (~~~~). Also, Kirby's Return to Dream Land was spelt wrong in the description; can this be fixed if it gets featured with that description?--Vellidragon 10:57, 3 July 2012 (CDT)
  • I fixed the spelling error so it matches the title of the game. I hope you won't mind. Aphelocomaマリオ 15:16, 4 July 2012 (CDT)
  • Thanks, but I meant the nomination text, actually, not the title :o The way our featured images seem to be set up, if this gets featured, the main page will cycle through the votes & nomination text as "captions" to the image and it would be better to have the correct title there. I can fix it when I add it to the template, I was just asking if I'm permitted to.--Vellidragon 16:50, 4 July 2012 (CDT)
  • You can fix it. I won't mind. Aphelocomaマリオ 16:54, 4 July 2012 (CDT)

Kirby Air Ride City Trial Scene (March 6, 2011)

I like this image, mainly because of the awesome detail this image has. Every square inch of this picture has been filled out with detail. Plus, it's very colorful, and it shows the action of the Kirbies gliding in their machines, Dyna Blade in the background, and meteors flying. I really think this deserves to be featured. 1. It's a really nice picture. Big, no white space, good quality, and colorful. Plus, there's something going on in almost every corner of the picture. This picture sums up the events quite nicely. Aphelocoma Mario (Talk)

Kirby & the Amazing Mirror Poster (March 6, 2011)

This is one of the most awesome Kirby images I've seen. The Dimension Mirror, Meta Knight and all 4 Kirbys with phones and unique powers, on the space background capture the isolated atmosphere of this title. K&tAM is really only comparable to itself and the artwork expresses that brilliantly. Axiomist (talk) 01:00, 18 September 2010 (CDT)

  1. I love this picture! It's Kirby like we've never seen him before. The design is bold, radical, shows that the developers are going all-out with this theme in Epic Yarn.

  2. Well, this is an amazing image, great quality, it is striking, innovative, I like it. --Tucayo 17:10, 13 July 2010 (UTC)
  3. Since 64, there had been NO home consoles, but I had all the home consoles that the Kirby home consoles appeared in, and that means you, SNES! Back on topic, I love how Kirby can be but into MANY textures, and this is one of them. Good quality, everything a known Nintendo charactor should have. --Joey

Yes, it has passed the requirements. ...The system of actually getting them to rotate around the main page just needs to be done. Austin (NIWA Operative) 20:34, 5 September 2010 (CDT)
