Welcome to Wondaria is the first stage of Wondaria Remains in Kirby and the Forgotten Land. In this stage, Kirby explores terraces in the abandoned theme park, dodging faulty rides and grabbing leftover concessions. Along the way, he'll be able to ride the roller coaster using Coaster Mouth, and further in, use Water-Balloon Mouth to tend to the neglected flowers and clean up the fountain to reach the gold cage at the end.

There are three Capsules from Vol. 1 to collect in this stage, and five missions to complete. There are a total of ten Waddle Dees to rescue here, when including the mission objectives. The blueprint for Toy Hammer can be found here.

Stage overviewEdit

This stage consists of four main areas with one hidden side area.

The first area consists of a large circular open space with a big statue in the middle. There are some scattered ducklings around who will follow Kirby if he gets close enough, and their mama is waiting toward the back. To the right, there is a wooden cut-out photo spot where Kirby, Elfilin, and Bandana Waddle Dee can pose to make some items appear. The path forward lays toward the back.

In the second area, Kirby needs to maneuver through a path lined with hazardous Twirling Star Rockets and sidestep pools of mud. Near the end, he will need to travel through a big open space where Runaway Parade Cars travel in a convoluted path. From there, he can climb up a series of ladders past more star rockets to find two possible doorways, one locked behind a gate. The locked one leads to a side area involving Coaster Mouth, while the unlocked one leads forward.

In the third area, Kirby needs to hop across spinning platforms while avoiding Gordo Bars and other enemies.

In the fourth and final area, Kirby comes across a series of wide plazas, many of which are covered in mud. To move forward, he first needs to head to the right and fill himself up with water from a pipe to gain Water-Balloon Mouth. Using this, he can clean up the mud and cause footholds to rise. A series of wilted flowers are found here, which can be watered with Water-Balloon Mouth to make the blueprint for Toy Hammer appear. From here, Kirby can eventually make his way to a dirty fountain. Cleaning that up as well lets Kirby ride up the water spouts to reach the golden cage and complete the stage.

Differences between difficultiesEdit

In Wild Mode, an extra Orabiroo is added to the area with the Runaway Parade Cars. Another extra Orabiroo is added on top of the fountain at the end of the stage. The rest is the same as in Spring-Breeze Mode.

MissionsEdit

Welcome to Wondaria has five missions to complete, as follows:

  • "Clear the stage" - Kirby must complete the stage.
  • "Save the hidden Waddle Dees" - Kirby must find and rescue the four hidden Waddle Dees in silver cages. Their locations are as follows:
    • Waddle Dee 1: This Waddle Dee is located in the second area, in the spot where all of the Runaway Parade Cars can be seen. Kirby needs to hit a switch on the left to make the cage appear, and then needs to get to it before time runs out.
    • Waddle Dee 2: This Waddle Dee is located behind a gate in the roller coaster room. Kirby needs to hit the switch near the end of the ride (located on the left side) to open the gate.
    • Waddle Dee 3: This Waddle Dee is located in the third main area, near the end. To make his cage appear, Kirby needs to hit the switch on a high platform near one of the spinning platforms.
    • Waddle Dee 4: This Waddle Dee can be found by cleaning up the four lower water spouts in the fountain at the end of the stage using Water-Balloon Mouth.
  • "Help the lost ducklings find their mama" - Kirby must find all five ducklings and lead them back to the mama duck. All five of them can be found in the first area around the rocket statue.
  • "Enjoy the view from the top of the rocket" - Kirby must stand atop the rocket statue at the start of the stage.
  • "Make all the wilted flowers bloom" - Kirby must find and water all eight of the wilted flowers using Water-Balloon Mouth. Two sets of these flowers can be found, all within the same area and within close proximity. One of the flowers is hidden behind a platform that shifts downward when the mud on it is cleaned up.
