"Water Land", named "Theme from Water Land" in the British English version, is a theme from Kirby's Epic Yarn and its remake that plays in the level with the same name. This track can be unlocked by collecting it in Fossil Reef. It was composed by Tomoya Tomita.[1]
Composition[edit]
An overview of the aquatic paradise.
"Water Land" is a cheery and placid theme in G major. Its composition is characteristic of samba, using a variant of a partido alto rhythm. It has a short guitar intro with gentle percussion, giving it a similar atmosphere to "Quilty Court". The lead flute plays a simple melody somewhat resembling that of "Big-Bean Vine". Following up is the guitar's solo, where its phrase rounds out the form while using the resolution of "Grass Land" mixed with the descending intonations of "Flower Fields". After this, the intro repeats, now extended and with a steelpan solo, completing the summery character. The track loops from the first section.
