A Warp Hole in Kirby: Triple Deluxe.
This article or section is under construction. Therefore, please excuse its informal appearance while it's being worked on. We hope to have it completed as soon as possible.
Reason: Eventually, this page will have a list of the shortcut Warp Holes in Dededetour! and where they go, but that's for another time.

A Warp Hole is a magical circular rift in space that allows Kirby or King Dedede to travel to a different location in a similar manner to a Door in Kirby: Triple Deluxe and Kirby: Planet Robobot. Unlike doors, however, Warp Holes activate as soon as they are touched, and often take the user to very different locations than where they are originally found. Entering a Warp Hole triggers a special effect wherein the portal expands and the user tumbles into its center until they vanish from view.

In Kirby: Triple Deluxe

In the Story Mode of Kirby: Triple Deluxe, Warp Holes do not begin appearing until Stage 2 of Royal Road, where they often take the place of regular doorways. Kirby travels through them in order to reach and subsequently exit the arenas where he re-fights the bosses from the first five levels of the game, but Warp Holes are also used in these stages to travel from area to area as usual.

Warp Holes serve a more prominent purpose in the Extra Game Dededetour!, where a special variety exists that can be found in hard-to-access areas or made to appear after meeting a certain condition. They tend to replace Sun Stones from the Story Mode with their placement. When King Dedede hops into one of these, he can take a shortcut to reach the end of the level faster, while a leitmotif from Revenge of the King plays.

In Kirby: Planet Robobot

In Kirby: Planet Robobot, Warp Holes make another appearance in some of the stages in Access Ark, but here they have a different appearance, looking like screens with a green triangular pattern on them. Otherwise, they function largely the same way.
