Help me!

Hello! Why can't I create my user page? I have even confirmed my account via my email address. 2Cute4U (talk) 17:30, 13 February 2019 (UTC)

You'll have to wait one day and make at least 5 edits to existing pages in order to be able to create a page, including your userpage. That's what the main page says if you look at the second block that also says "Welcome to WiKirby". --Viperision (talk) 17:37, 13 February 2019 (UTC)

Patroller

Heya! You've been recommended for Patroller and I can tell you've been fairly active on the wiki. Would you be interested? No big responsibilities, just an easier way to rollback vandal edits and the ability to mark changes as patrolled so other staff know they don't need to check them anymore. Let me know what you think!--Vellidragon (talk) 03:51, 4 March 2019 (UTC)

I'd be interested, thanks. I check on the wiki somewhat frequently, and I played couple of Kirby games already. Thanks Results May Vary (talk) 03:54, 4 March 2019 (UTC)
Okay, welcome to the team! Sorry it took a while, I've been very busy during the week. Can't set your name colour right now, there seems to be a permission issue with the CSS. :s --Vellidragon (talk) 02:40, 9 March 2019 (UTC)
That's alright. Thanks for promotion Results May Vary (talk) 02:43, 9 March 2019 (UTC)

RE:Haiiii

Thanks. My upcoming project here is to create level articles on Kirby and the Rainbow Curse, though not quite right this instant. Toadette the Achiever (talk) 00:24, 6 March 2019 (UTC)

We do have a page for each level in the game already, though they are quite barebones at the moment. That said, it would be nice if we got articles on each stage in the game. I can assist with this task once you feel you are ready to begin. --Fubaka (talk) 00:28, 6 March 2019 (UTC)
"Stages" was what I meant. (Man, are the Mario and Kirby nomenclatures inconsistent.) Yeah, thought I might create the enemy articles before I start the articles on stages. Toadette the Achiever (talk) 23:33, 6 March 2019 (UTC)

Admin

Greetings, Results May Vary. I am messaging you to offer you the position of Administrator on WiKirby. As an Admin, you will be granted many responsibilities, including settling disputes between users, handling deletion of pages and files, and changing protection of pages, among other duties. I believe you have demonstrated the necessary devotion to the wiki to be deserving of this position. Do you accept? --Fubaka (talk) 20:33, 10 September 2019 (UTC)

I do accept, thank you for offering the position to me. I actually did not expect this to be offered to me but since I've made some significant changes around the place and helped the wiki grow, it seems like the right decision to make. Results May Vary (talk) 20:36, 10 September 2019 (UTC)
Then it is so. I will make the necessary adjustments. Welcome aboard! --Fubaka (talk) 20:37, 10 September 2019 (UTC)

Signature in wikitext

Whenever I sign my comments, the raw code for my signature shows in the wikitext (although it looks as intended on the page itself), instead of "{{User:Obsessive Mario Fan/sig}}". Do you think there is a way to fix this by changing it in my preferences (which I tried), or changing the way signatures are programmed on the wiki? I originally asked Fubaka (Talk) about this, then he suggested that I ask you. --DeepFriedCabbage 21:06, 11 September 2019 (UTC)

I'm still relatively new, so I asked someone for help on this. Unfortunately looks like this is a localsettings problem (a php file which only server administrators can access). The line of code would need to be added: $wgCleanSignatures = false; . After that (and I'll tell you when a server admin fixes this), remove the SUBST: from your user signature preference, but only when i say it's safe to Results May Vary (talk) 21:24, 11 September 2019 (UTC)
