Adeleine is the young painter that joins forces with Kirby in his quest to rid Dark Matter from his realm in Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards. She is a human girl, which causes her to stand out greatly from many other Kirby series characters, particularly due to the fact that she stands at roughly twice the height of Kirby. Her name is a Germanization of the French "Adeline", which is diminutive for "Adele" (nobility).
