Uja is a floating enemy from Kirby: Squeak Squad. It's a dark grainy creature that comes in two forms. The first resembles Master Hand, and the second resembles a large scimitar. It floats slowly after Kirby, in an attempt to collide with him to deal damage. When it appears or shifts shape, it makes a creepy noise, distinguishing it from most every other creature in the game. If it gets hit, it will phase out in order to avoid taking more damage, and will often flee the scene afterward. Uja has a great deal of hit points, but it can be inhaled easily.
When possessed by Ghost Kirby, Uja can be made to fly around, changing its orientation as it moves in a given direction. Uja will transform of its own accord into its hand or sword form, even while possessed, and cannot be forced to change unless it is hit. It cannot attack directly while in hand form, but when in sword form, it can be made to thrust, cutting ropes and foliage and dealing heavy damage to enemies.

Trivia
- The name 'Uja' means 'swarm' in Japanese; a fitting name, given that the Uja appears to be a swarm of black substance that takes on the shape of a hand or scimitar.
