This article is about the duo version of Kracko. For the main version, see Kracko.
Two eyes glare in the gloom like an angry face in the sky—this isn't what Kracko's like back on Popstar! Twice as fluffy and twice as mean, Twin Kracko's combo attacks are brutal—but they're no match for the power of friendship!
— VS Twin Kracko

Twin Kracko is a boss fought in Kirby Star Allies. They are encountered on the Gabbel Moon stage in Far-Flung Starlight Heroes, right after Kracko is defeated, and the two clouds share and retain his design. They are also fought in Guest Star ???? Star Allies Go! and The Ultimate Choice - again after Kracko himself is defeated (although back-to-back in the same round).

Overview

Twin Kracko possess most of the same attacks as Kracko solo, but they coordinate their attacks to cover a great deal more ground at once. They are also individually larger than Kracko solo, making it slightly harder to dodge their swooping movements. However, they are not without their weaknesses, as when they perform their rain attack, they can be greatly harmed by Zap element moves or even frozen by Blizzard element moves.

Twin Kracko have 720 HP in Story Mode and Guest Star ???? Star Allies Go!, and 540 HP in The Ultimate Choice. (Both Krackos share the same health bar; for reference, a Star Bullet does 52 damage.)

Attacks

The following table lists all of Twin Kracko's attacks in Kirby Star Allies:

Twin Kracko's attacks in Kirby Star Allies
Attack Description
Twin Waterfall Twin Kracko begin pouring torrents of rain below themselves, leaving many Drop Stars when finished.
  • Twin Kracko take 0.5× damage during Twin Waterfall.
  • If the waterfall takes enough Blizzard element attacks, it will cause Twin Kracko to freeze and fall down for a few seconds. Frozen Twin Kracko take 2× damage.
  • For each time the waterfall takes a Zap element attack, it does 10 damage to Twin Kracko.
  • The Parasol ability can protect the user from the rain; the Chumbrella can protect other allies under.
Twin Enemy Drop Twin Kracko drop enemies, which can be either Chilly or Waddle Doo. Ironically, these enemies yield the Copy Abilities Twin Kracko are weak to.
Twin Dancing Twin Kracko tackle and swoop across the stage in unison. They can do so in a very similar manner to that of regular Kracko.
Twin Lightning Rain Twin Kracko fires green lightning bolts while moving twice. They may sometimes go back to the middle and fire more potent purple lightning bolts that leave sparks on the ground.
  • Twin Kracko take 0.7× damage during green lightning bolts and take 0.5× damage during purple lightning bolts.
Twin Beam Twin Kracko fire swirling beam whips around themselves. Twin Kracko may also perform this while moving across the stage.
  • Twin Kracko take 0.7× damage during Twin Beam.

Both Krackos need to be in certain positions of the battlefield before they can perform certain attacks. If a Kracko is continuously attacked by Kirby or his allies, then it will take a while before their next attack in the cycle.[1]

Both Krackos attack in a fixed order on loop as follows:

  1. Twin Waterfall x3
  2. Twin Enemy Drop
  3. Twin Dancing [W motion]
  4. Twin Lightning Rain
  5. Enemy Drop
  6. Twin Beam [starting on one side and then moving to the other]
  7. Twin Dancing [regular tackle]
  8. Twin Waterfall
  9. Enemy Drop
  10. Twin Dancing [ground swoop]
  11. Twin Lightning Rain [green lightning bolts]
  12. Twin Beam x2 [stationary in two positions on the arena each]
  13. Enemy Drop
  14. Twin Dancing [W motion]
  15. Twin Dancing [regular tackle]
  16. Twin Dancing [ground swoop]

If one Kracko is frozen during a Twin Waterfall attack and the other is not, the other Kracko proceeds to use his Beam Whip attack before the frozen Kracko de-frosts himself. Once done, the attack loop continues from there.

Trivia

  • Twin Kracko can be considered a counterpart of Twin Woods. Both Whispy Woods and Kracko are the most recurring bosses in the Kirby series, and individuals of both species are found on other planets besides Planet Popstar.
  • Twin Kracko can be simply frozen by a single Ice ability user using Ice Storm to their Twin Waterfall.
