Triple Strike! Over Freezing Water (Tornado Treasure for short) is a stage in Treasure Road, found in Winter Horns. This stage tasks Kirby with completing a challenge revolving around the use of Tornado, hitting sets of switches over pools of water. The stage is unlocked by completing Windy, Freezing Seas. The stage is marked by two stars of difficulty and has a stage time of two minutes (one and a half minutes in Wild Mode), with a target time of 30 seconds.
Stage details
This stage consists of four distinct challenges, each involving hitting sets of three switches on platforms in pools of freezing water. For each of these sets, Kirby needs to use the Tornado spin to fly over and hit them, then safely reach the warp pad on the other side to go to the next challenge. Once the last set is cleared, the path to the Rare Stone will appear.
Tips
The following are tips on how to attain the target time for this stage:
- To safely reach the target time, Kirby should take the little extra time he needs to space himself correctly so that he can hit the three switches in each area with one spinning motion.
- Kirby can end his tornado spin early is the player presses B during the flight. This may be handy for landing on the warp pad sooner.
