Needs information on all other Kirby games that have such a feature

The Theater is a menu available in Kirby titles, starting with Kirby's Dream Land 3 which allows the player to re-watch cinematic cut-scenes and other special videos from the game that they've unlocked. The menu itself is usually unlocked once a cut-scene is watched in the main game for the first time.

Often times, special cut-scenes that do not appear in the main game can also be viewed in the Theater, once certain requirements are met. The most prominent examples of this are the Kirby Master videos, which can only be unlocked once 100% Completion is met for the games they appear in.

List of cut-scenes available in Kirby Super Star Ultra

Most of the cutscenes are unlocked after viewing them in-game for the first time. Some cutscenes are only available through special conditions: "Grand Opening" is available from the start, "Fly! Meta Knight" is unlocked after clearing Meta Knightmare Ultra (and can occasionally play on the title screen in place of "Grand Opening" afterwards), "Special-Edition Blooper Reel" is unlocked after clearing The True Arena, and "Original Kirby Movies" is unlocked after clearing Helper to Hero with every helper.

Starfall: A Rude Awakening

A Friend Heart Appears
Cutscene that plays in the level Green Gardens, acting as the tutorial for how to use Friend Hearts to create friends. Kirby is ambushed by a Poppy Bros. Jr, but the player is prompted to press X to use a Friend Heart on the enemy.

Star Allies: Return from Afar
The ending cutscene to Story Mode, where Kirby and friends finally defeat Void Termina and escape a giant galactic explosion. After Kirby falls unconscious, his friends come to pick him up, then a Warp Star sends them back to their home planet. Notably, this cutscene uses the last-used team of friends used to defeat the final boss.

Kirby's Curtain Call
The credits to Story Mode. It is also a playable minigame, where Kirby and his friends can defeat enemies and collect Point Stars to get the highest score, which the game keeps track of in future playthroughs. King Dedede also appears as a boss in this "cutscene". This cutscene also uses whoever was last used to complete Story Mode.
KSA Theater preview 7.png
Friends' Curtain Call
The credits to Guest Star ???? Star Allies Go!, featuring a pink aesthetic and an emphasis on a heart-themed motif. While gameplay of the minigame is mostly the same, Meta Knight can also be fought as a boss, and also features other Friends and Dream Friends used to complete previous runs as an audience.

The Happiest Curtain Call(?)
The credits to Heroes in Another Dimension, featuring a galactic aesthetic and an emphasis on a star-themed motif. This "cutscene" depends on the outcome the player has received upon completing this mode.
  • If the player gets the False Ending (ranks F to B), an arrangement of the Bad Ending theme from Kirby's Dream Land 3 (known as THE END...? in Kirby Star Allies: The Original Soundtrack) plays, King Dedede is fought in the credits, and the ending caption after the credits says "The End...?". The name of the cutscene in the Theater also displays a question mark.
  • If the player gets the Happy Ending (ranks A to S), an arrangement of various credits themes from the more recent Kirby games (known as Memories of the Grand Finale in Kirby Star Allies: The Original Soundtrack) plays, Marx will appear as a surprise boss in the credits, the thumbnail for this movie on the Theater will display The Three Mage-Sisters in place of Marx, and the ending caption will say "Happy Ending!"
