“ | Deluxe bosses wait in the wings as the curtain rises on the final battle! It's a known-down, drag-out fight all the way to the nightmare four. The True Arena awaits! | ” | — Kirby: Triple Deluxe quote for The True Arena |
The True Arena is an Extra Game mode that has featured in every main series Kirby title since Kirby Super Star Ultra introduced it, except for Kirby Star Allies. It is similar to The Arena, but - like the name suggests - it is a more challenging version, featuring more/tougher Bosses to be fought in sequence, and less recovery items and copy abilities available along the way. The True Arena is intended to serve as the final and toughest challenge in the games it appears in, and always features at least one Boss that does not appear elsewhere in the host game.
Completing The True Arena is a requirement for 100% completion of the games it appears in. It is hidden from the menu at first, but then typically appears at some point after The Arena is cleared, with doing so being one of multiple unlocking criteria.
Game appearances
Kirby Super Star Ultra
The True Arena is the final game-mode in Kirby Super Star Ultra. It is similar to The Arena, requiring Kirby to defeat a total of ten bosses previously encountered in the game. However, he only receives five tomatoes and no Maxim Tomatoes. Also, while the first six bosses are in a random order (like The Arena), the last four are fought in a set order (like Helper to Hero). Kirby fights all the bosses that did not appear in the original Template:KSS KFP here. This mode is unlocked when all other modes of the game are completed, including the Arena.
Bosses
Kirby encounters the following bosses in this stage:

Galacta Knight | Final boss of Meta Knightmare Ultra. |
Marx Soul | Final boss of the game; not encountered elsewhere. |
It should be noted that all the bosses, minus Kabula and the mid-bosses, are stronger forms of bosses from the original game. Also, the final four are stronger forms of the final bosses of Spring Breeze, The Great Cave Offensive, Revenge of Meta Knight, and Milky Way Wishes.

The True Arena in Template:KRtDL KAW differs a bit from Kirby Super Star Ultra. It is again similar to The Arena, requiring Kirby to defeat a total of fifteen bosses previously encountered in the Extra Mode of the game and is unlocked by clearing said Extra Mode. However, he receives only three Maxim Tomatoes, being replaced with smaller tomatoes after use. While the first ten bosses are in a random order (like The Arena), the last five are fought in a set order.
This True Arena also allows multiple players to join in the fight, and allows the player to play as a character other than Kirby.

Trivia
- When counting Magolor EX and Magolor Soul as one, every single penultimate fight in the True Arenas is with a Knight: Galacta Knight in Kirby Super Star Ultra, Template:KRtDL KAW, and Kirby: Planet Robobot, and Dark Meta Knight in Kirby: Triple Deluxe. The same applies to The Ultimate Choice: on the Infernal Crisis, Soul Melter, and Soul Melter EX difficulties, Morpho Knight (EX) is the penultimate opponent.
