"The Greatest Warrior in the Galaxy" is the theme song of Galacta Knight, first appearing in Kirby Super Star Ultra. The track has since been rearranged in three subsequent games: once in [[Kirby's Return to Dream Land|Template:KRtDL KAW]], once in Kirby: Planet Robobot, and twice in Super Kirby Clash. It is one of the heaviest music tracks in terms of intensity and instrument speed in the Kirby series.

Game appearances

Kirby Super Star Ultra

Galacta Knight debuts as the final boss of Meta Knightmare Ultra in Kirby Super Star Ultra. He is also fought by Kirby in The True Arena.

The original version of "The Greatest Warrior in the Galaxy" is composed in a heavy metal style, featuring distorted electric guitar and rapid drum beats. It can be found as track 97 in Super Star Ultra's Sound Test. It's also included as track 32 on the Kirby Ultra Super Deluxe Original Sound Track and track 31 on the Kirby's Dream Collection Special Edition Compilation Soundtrack.

In Galacta Knight's second phase, his theme finally plays, but now remixed in a techno style. It is arranged by Jun Ishikawa and titled 異世界からの戦士 ("Warrior from Another World") in Japanese. This version can be found as track 110 in Template:KRtDL KAW's Jukebox, and track 38 on the Kirby Wii Music Selection.

Kirby: Planet Robobot

In Galacta Knight's second phase, his theme finally plays, but now remixed in an even more techno style. It is also arranged by Jun Ishikawa and titled "The Greatest Warrior in the Galaxy Ever" in English and 時巡る銀河最強の戦士 ("The Greatest Time-Crossing Warrior in the Galaxy") in Japanese. This version can be found as track 153 in Planet Robobot's Jukebox and track 90 on the Kirby: Planet Robobot Original Soundtrack.

Kirby Star Allies

During Galacta Knight's cutscene in Guest Star ???? Star Allies Go!, the Template:KRtDL KAW version of his theme is reused for a brief moment before fading out. This full track can still be found as track 170 in the Kirby Star Allies Jukebox as of Version 4.0.0, and track 36 on disc four of Kirby Star Allies: The Original Soundtrack.

Super Kirby Clash

Two distinct versions of the theme play in Super Kirby Clash. The first sounds very similar to earlier themes, though with a few differences in the instrumentation. This version plays during both of the normal "Aeon Hero" encounters.

The second version plays during the battles against Aeon Hero (Light) and (Dark). This version features additional orchestral instruments, breakbeat drums, and has a slightly altered structure, with a choir supporting the melody. Both of these versions are arranged by Kiyoshi Hazemoto.

Other appearances

In The Sound of Kirby Café 2, "The Greatest Warrior in the Galaxy" is incorporated into track 5, titled "Coffee Shop of Twilight and Starry Skies". This version, a medley with "My Friend and the Sunset", is arranged by Megumi Ohara and features a gentler, jazzy style with flute and piano.

The theme is also featured at the end of the bonus track ボスバトルメドレー/エレクトロニックver. (Boss Battle Medley / Electronic Ver.) from the Kirby Ultra Super Deluxe Original Soundtrack, which was also arranged by Jun Ishikawa.
