The Chill Factor is the 66th episode of Kirby: Right Back at Ya!. This marks the first appearance of Pengis. In this episode, winter comes to Dream Land yet again. It is visited by a huge iceberg controlled by the Pengy tribe led by Pengy, who can talk unlike the other penguins. Only the main Pengy resembles the Pengis from Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land. Other Pengis lack the distinct eyebrows and somewhat resemble the artwork from Kirby's Adventure, do not demonstrate the ability to breathe ice, and many carry spears.

As the Pengy tribe moves in, Dream Land experiences a huge shift of climate becoming colder. Kirby attempts to battle them, but the lead Pengy freezes him with the Ice ability. King Dedede calls on the N.M.E. Sales Guy to send anything that can help Kirby defeat Pengy. Instead of a monster, however, they are sent a bottle of super hot sauce. Instead of drinking the sauce, Kirby takes the hot sauce to a nearby volcano and pours the sauce into the caldera. The volcano then erupts making the climate become warmer and the Pengy tribe moves to find a colder place to live.

No monster is sent by Night Mare Enterprises in this episode, but Pengy serves as the effective villain, and Kirby attempts to battle him toward the end.
