InfoboxEdit

Can't we change games to debut? Its much better and it wont be as cluttered as this Kingofun 06:28, 4 May 2010 (UTC)

I've noticed issues with the infoboxes too. I'll look for the ones Adam has fixed and see what I can do. Edit: I've lessened the problem by copying the mark up Adam put in the Items infobox, and am thinking to create new fields to break up the Games section, such as Debut and Latest, as you've suggested. And will try having the others appear in a field below those two and in small text to minimize the intrusion. I'm a fan of infoboxes listing all of the games something appeared in.If say I don't see Game A in the infobox for Enemy B, then I can tell immediately some information may be missing from the page. But if it still looks bad, I'll nix it. Axiomist 22:49, 4 May 2010 (UTC)
It looks much better now! Thanks for the change!Kingofun 02:26, 5 May 2010 (UTC)

Game(s) SectionEdit

In the Blipper example above, only the games that are not the debut or latest appearance are listed in the Game(s) section. So if an enemy has only appeared in one game (like Sasuke), would that game be listed as debut and latest and the Game(s) section left completely empty? It looks a bit odd that way imo, as there is clearly a game listed as Debut Game and Latest Game but the section for games below those is empty. Maybe the Game(s) section should not appear at all if it doesn't contain anything, like the other sections?--Vellidragon 19:50, 5 May 2010 (UTC)

I made the requested changes. Let me know if there's any issue with it. I just checked the Sasuke page and it seems to be working. Axiomist 01:14, 6 May 2010 (UTC)
Thanks, but there does seem to be a problem with it; at least for me, the Game(s) section now never shows up anymore even when filled out (Magoo for instance used to have one which is now gone, and it's gone on the Blipper example too), and neither does the Latest Game one for some reason :\ --Vellidragon 20:39, 6 May 2010 (UTC)

I hope you don't mind me messing with the template, but I believe the #if functions were breaking it, and don't think they are really needed at all, seeing how the other sections don't use them and still don't show up unless filled in. Looking at the template's history, the reason the automatic hiding didn't work for the Game(s) section seems to have been because of the code, which made the Wiki think that the section was filled in even if it wasn't. Sorry if I messed up anything, though I cannot see anything wrong with the articles using the template at the moment...--Vellidragon 13:09, 21 May 2010 (UTC)

Not at all! If we didn't want anyone messing with it, it would've been protected :P That's the awesome thing about wikis: You're free to edit as you please (provided you make edits that destroy!) Not sure if it fixed the problem, but if it did, then thank you! If it didn't, I'll give it a look later. Thanks again for your contributions!_Neo(U) (T) (C)(Home) 20:44, 21 May 2010 (UTC)

N-Z's name can be used to name letters from the alphabet, should this be added to the article? IceShadow1199 · edits) 16:42, 20 August 2012 (CDT)

I don't see its significance. And why is this on a talk page for a template and not the N-Z talk page?--Vellidragon 11:02, 21 August 2012 (CDT)

Meh, sorry, I thought I was in N-Z's talk page. Forgive me IceShadow1199 · edits) 23:20, 25 August 2012 (CDT)
