- March 5th, 2015 - Nintendo have recently added a selection of Kirby themes to the Nintendo 3DS Theme Shop!
- January 17th, 2014 - New NIWA Member: Hard Drop Tetris Wiki joins NIWA! If you're a fan of Tetris and falling blocks (including Kirby's Star Stacker and Kirby's Avalanche!), be sure to drop in and help fill their rows of contributors.
- August 4th, 2013 - WiKirby apologises for recent and persisting database errors around the site. Due to the only person with access to the server, Adam, ignoring all attempts to contact him, we are having a hard time dealing with the problems. Although the most severe issues have resolved, many pages currently appear broken to anonymous users due to a faulty configuration of caching. If you encounter a "Database error" when trying to visit an article, please help make the page visible again by purging its cache. To do so, add
?action=purgeto the end of the URL, confirm and click the "OK" button on the page that appears. Sorry for the inconveniences! - October 31st, 2012 - After a prolonged downtime, our fellow NIWA member Lylat Wiki is finally back online to help protect the Lylat System - with a slightly different URL, ending on .info instead of .org . - September 16th, 2012 - Kirby's Dream Collection, a package celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Kirby series, has been released in North America! Coinciding with its release, Nintendo of America is hosting a contest to win a free copy of the game; more information can be found on this Facebook page by Nintendo. In addition, owners of the game get a chance to win Kirby-themed round playing cards from Club Nintendo; check them out here. WiKirby wishes good luck to all entrants!
