Sand Canyon 3 or Rainbow Resort

I'm debating if the final part of Green Laboratory from KPR is Rainbow Resort or Sand Canyon 3. The latter seems to have Rainbow Resort in it, so it begs the question of if they both are Rainbow Resort. ~☆Starvoid⁠☆ (t · c) 14:37, 3 April 2023 (UTC)

Personally, the melodies are similar but ultimately very different. I wouldn't consider both to be the same at all. I played the clips that are apparently supposed to represent how the end is Rainbow Resort, but the notes are different. - Gigi (talk • edits) 14:57, 3 April 2023 (UTC)

I think Sand Canyon 3 quotes but is not simply Rainbow Resort. SC3 likely has enough material for its own article, and Green Laboratory probably belongs under that rather than Rainbow Resort. We might consider noting under Composition, however, that Sand Canyon 3 has a musical phrase extremely similar in melodic movement and rhythm to the phrase in Rainbow Resort, per discussions happening on Discord with Gigi and User:ShadowKirby. —willidleaway [talk | edits] 15:15, 3 April 2023 (UTC)

The original version of Sand Canyon 3 also contains this "Rainbow Resort-like" portion, but Sand Canyon 3 seems to be its own original theme. It has its own unique melody. --Paistrie (talk) 15:45, 3 April 2023 (UTC)

OK, so now we have a page for Desert Stage and Green Laboratory is catalogued there. Given the conclusions from the discussion above, I propose removing Green Laboratory from the Rainbow Resort page. Frostak's Cold Land separate page?

I have a quick question; I'm considering making an individual music page for "Frostak's Cold Land" from Kirby Star Allies. The main reason is that just like "Sky-High and Smitten" the song's melody is original in its first half, while the second half is a partial remix of "Rainbow Resort" just switched sections. As much as it pains me, a "Frostak" enthusiast, to say this, besides the melody (and only the melody) in the first part of "Frostak", every other element of the theme is either based on "Rainbow Resort" or remixing it directly. "Sky-High and Smitten" only had a descending minor triad, which was a way bigger stretch for similarity with "Gourmet Race".
